My name is Jackie Hudson. I have been teaching yoga in Altrincham and the surrounding areas for the past 11 years. All my community classes are listed here. I also teach corporate lunchtime classes.

Previously, I worked in the pharma industry whilst bringing up a family, then I was lucky enough to train as a yoga teacher and subsequently pregnancy yoga teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga. In 2016 I trained with the Birthlight Trust to become an Baby Yoga Instructor.

I am also an experienced massage therapistin In 2012 I completed VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Swedish Massage (QCF). Subsequently I trained with Gateway to deliver Pregnancy Massage and will soon finish my No Hands Massage Practioner training.

I initially found yoga when I was expecting my first child (who is now 24 years old!) and over the years it has been my rock. I have been blessed with wonderful teachers and attended many workshops and retreats. My own style is a fusion of hatha, Iyengar and flow with an increasing interest in the benefits of Yin Yoga and Somatics. Yoga has helped to keep me fit and flexible as well as sane at times - providing much-needed stillness when life was turbulent. Yoga Nidra is at the essence of my own practise and teaching. Nidra offers space within your day, within your body, within your breath and ultimately within your mind. I am particularly interested in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and the benefits of mindful movement and meditation.

I am the BWY County Rep for Cheshire.

It is my belief that anyone can benefit from practising yoga if they choose to, regardless of their age, physical abilities or state of mind.
